The era “After Cristiano” started: Lopetegui directed his first practice in Real Madrid

The new technician of Real Madrid, Julen Lopetegui, had this Monday his first training under the cast of “merengue”, which was marked by the absence of his now former figure Cristiano Ronaldo and of the players who played the World Cup of Russia 2018.

This first practice session coincided with the arrival of the Portuguese idol to Juventus, club that hired their services for the next four years.

In Madrid, meanwhile, Welsh Gareth Bale and the French Karim Benzema were some of the players who participated in the practice, along with Jesús Vallejo, Kiko Casilla, Dani Ceballos, Marcos Llorente, Borja Mayoral and Theo Hernández.

The other focus was on the Brazilian Vinicius Junior, one of the new faces of Real Madrid for the next season. The South American player trained for the first time with the club “merengue” after the latter more than 40 million will be spent on his signing and leave him a season on loan at his home club, Flamengo
