Important gesture the one who has starred Gareth Bale in the fight against coronavirus. The footballer of Real Madrid has made a donation of half a million pounds to University Hospital of Wales. This is none other than the hospital Cardiff in which the player was born on July 16, 1989.
“My family and I want to show our support, you are doing an incredible job,” said Bale after this gesture, in a video that he starred in to support the UK National Health Service (NHS) for the fight against the coronavirus.
The head of the Cardiff health board, Len Richard, in turn, wanted to thank the player for this gesture of solidarity: “I want to thank Gareth, Emma and their whole family for this fantastic donation. We are filled with heart that they have decided to give something back to the local hospital to thank them for the services they have provided both to themselves and their family and friends. “
